Our photographer Jeff showed up early which was great and immediately got to work setting things up. He was personable, instructional in staging photos, efficient and I truly cannot wait to see the shots he captured. Our videographer was not who we originally were assigned but Emory showed up and again was personable, helped walk us through some great moments to capture and was so passionate about video that he was hyping us up all day. The few clips he showed a couple of the bridesmaids made them so excited for us to see. Evan was our dj and played each song as we planned. The music was up beat and fun and when there was a song I wasn't super fond of we made eye contact and he mixed into something else. The photobooth was fun and the attendant was so kind. We also did uplighting and cold sparks. The pictures people took of us and sent show people with shocked excited faces when those went off, which was just a fun addition. Overall our day went smoothly and hoping that the pictures and video we get delivered will be just the same! I could write an entire book on how flawless Elite was for us. Dan, Stefon, Dustin (shoutout DJ Hercules), Moe, and Krista really knocked it out of the park on every aspect of our wedding. The prep with Dan was seamless, and he ensured us throughout that we wouldn't have to worry about anything. He was crucial in helping plan out the entire day too, something that seemed like a monumental task beforehand. Right from the beginning, we knew Dustin was the man. Put it this way- I am no fan of line dancing songs, and he made me a fan of them by the end of the night. The dance floor was PACKED throughout the reception. He had the perfect mix of throwbacks, slow songs, and a few surprise songs that made our wedding that much more memorable (it made my heart full with him sneaking in Metallica at one point). I cannot stress this enough- Stefon captured our day even better than I could have imagined. We had a handful of reference photos, and Stefon dialed them in with even better results. Looking through our proofs, I don't know how he managed to capture some of the photos he took, because each picture has us re-living the moment. Even when our itinerary plans didn't line up how we wanted due to wardrobe mishaps, Stefon made sure to capture everything we wanted. We haven't received the video yet, but with the track record we've written about so far I can guarantee Moe's videography will come out tremendous. His calm and cool demeanor reassured us that he caught every moment. Coming from a design background, I was particular in the style of our photos we wanted for our wedding. Krista absolutely nailed the aesthetic we were dreaming of- I was floored. The fact that she was able to stylize the entire set of photos truly meant a lot. Every single person we had worked with through Elite was incredibly personable too. Just having small talk through the day with them made our wedding that much more special. We cannot recommend Elite Wedding Co. enough!!
